Questions
About My First Words
Can I include phrases, not just words?
Yes. Each of the ten entries can be a single word or a little phrase, like “all gone” or “night night”.
What if they’re not saying ten words yet?
Every book has ten entries. If they’re not quite there, little phrases count too, or it may be worth waiting a few weeks for more to arrive.
What if I can’t remember exactly how they said it?
Write it the way it sounds to you. That’s the version you’ll want to remember.
Will it really look like my child?
We draw them from the photos you share. If you’d like to check, ask for a preview and see every page before it’s printed. [How likeness is handled.]
What age is it for?
[Typical age range.]
When will it arrive?
About 8 working days in total: 2 to create their book, then 6 to print and deliver it. With express delivery we make it first, so it’s with you in about 5–6 working days. If you choose a preview, we print once you approve it, so any changes will push delivery back a little. Free delivery on orders over $50.
